This pen & ink drawing is of one of my dearest friends. By my side through all seasons of life, she is someone who inspires me to keep discovering the true essence of who I am. Like any great muse, capturing her stunning beauty eludes me, and yet I still try. This piece was started on a summer day when she sat for me among the roses at our local botanical garden.
